Working with BK Optical is easy and expedient. We use an eight-step process designed to get your eyeglass frame design quoted, manufactured, and shipped, so you can concentrate on the selling process.
Step 1. You request a quote. Just send us a similar frame, picture of a frame, sketch, drawing, or CAD file of the frame you want quoted.
Step 2. Within 72-hours, BK Optical will return a completed quote to you. A deposit is required to initiate the job and a purchase order is issued.
Step 3. After your deposit is received, we begin design of your frame using our high tech CAD drawing system. We also use the CAD system to generate multiple frame sizes. Note* If you already have DEF or IGES files for the frame you want produced, your overall cost of production will be reduced.
Step 4. Next we'll fax you a printed version of the frame you requested. Alterations and design changes can be made at this point. Once we receive your changes, BK Optical will cut a flat sample of the frame and send it to you for approval. Note* You must approve this step in writing before full production begins.
Step 5. We begin tooling for the job. Any changes made to the frame after this point will result in a per hour charge to the client. We will produce finished samples of each frame size and forward them to you for written approval.
Step 6. Full production begins! Your frame order will move pretty fast at this point. Your frames are only weeks away from delivery.
Step 7. We'll notify you when your frames will be ready, about a week prior to completion of the job. Final payment is due at this point.
Step 8. When your final payment has been received, we will ship from our production facility via UPS or freight truck as requested.
